In 2012, during our first visit to this Social Assistance Center, its director told us that during the annual general meeting of directors of the Social Assistance Center of North Vietnam, he heard his colleague from Ba Vi declare that he had obtained help from Vinaes in the creation of an autarkic economy. Also when receiving us, he submitted a request for structures adapted to his needs including fish farming, market gardening, pigsty and biogas.
In 2014, returning there after the installation of the biogas system, we learned that the surplus biogas was distributed to the surrounding residents and that the pigs were sold at the market.
